Fundraiser Information

LBYSO is a non-profit organization and depends on fundraising to help augment our ability to pay for necessities such as field equipment, lights, field permits, and helps keep registration fees as low as possible. This year we are facilitating this by continuing the following fundraising program:   

COMMUNITY DISCOUNT CARDS - New and improved!

For the 2009 - 2010 season, the fundraiser fees will be included as part of the registration fee. Each registered player will be given 2 Community cards, valued at $10.00 per card. For families with 3 or more children, a maximum of 6 cards per family will be given out.

The community cards will be distributed to the players by the coaches after they receive them at the coaches meeting on 8/17. 

What is a ‘community discount card?’

The card is wallet-sized and offers a wide variety of discounts from various businesses in our community for an entire year (expires 6/30/10)! You can use it for yourself or sell it to family and friends. With so many discounts, you are guaranteed to make back the money you paid for the card.  

As an added bonus, if you do not live or work in the Long Beach/Lakewood area, you can trade your card in for a different city by calling the "800" number on the front of the card.

With many of the most popular local fast food restaurants, pizza places, and sporting goods stores among the many businesses included on the card, you are guaranteed to get your money’s worth!
