TEAM CHECK-IN
Team check-in was Wednesday evening, January 2, from 7-10 pm, at the Long Beach Holiday Inn. Teams that missed check-in will need to check-in Saturday morning at tournament headquarters, located at Heartwell Park, Recreation Center, adjacent to Field No.3. Same day Saturday check-in should occur approximately 90 minutes before the team’s first game, or at 8 AM for a 9 AM game. Saturday check-in is only available to teams that first contact the Tournament Director. All teams will need to present the following two items for each player at team check-in: Player photo ID cards, obtained from your League or Region Registrar; and, Player Registration forms that include a liability waiver and consent for medical treatment. If you are using a borrowed player, or are otherwise unable to obtain the registration form, you may complete a duplicate copy, as long as the form is signed by the player’s parent or legal guardian. Players do not have to be present during team check-in.

Rooms are available through the Holiday Inn or Long Beach Marriot for $109 per night.
Directions to Heartwell Park:
Easily accessible from the 91, 405 and 605 Freeways, Heartwell Park in Long Beach is a large park and sports complex located on Carson Street between Long Beach City College and Heartwell Golf Course. Parking for the Mayor’s cup is in the parking lots along Carson Street and the interior streets along the park.
PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE DRIVEWAYS OF ANY OF THE HOUSES NEAR THE PARK WHEN PARKING YOUR VEHICLE.

From the 405 Freeway exit at Bellflower Blvd:
If you are traveling south on the 405, use the north Bellflower offramp (it loops back after cross the overpass) and turn right at the bottom of the offramp and proceed north on Bellflower Blvd. If you are traveling north on the 405, turn right at the bottom of the offramp and proceed north on Bellflower Blvd. Drive approximately 1-1/2 miles to Carson Street and turn right. The fields will be on your right hand side and numbered 1-10 as you travel east on Carson Street between Bellflower Blvd. and Palo Verde Ave.
From the 605 Freeway:
If you are traveling south on the 605, use the Carson Street offramp and turn right at the bottom of the offramp and proceed west on Carson. If you are traveling north on the 605, turn left at the bottom of the offramp and proceed west on Carson. Drive approximately 1-1/2 miles and the fields will be on your left hand side and numbered 10-1 as you travel west on Carson Street between Palo Verde Ave and Bellflower Blvd.
From the 91 Freeway exit at Bellflower Blvd.
If you are traveling east on the 91, turn right at the bottom of the offramp and proceed south on Bellflower toward Long Beach. . If you are traveling West on the 91, turn left at the bottom of the offramp. Drive approximately 3 miles to Carson Street and turn left. The fields will be on your right hand side and numbered 1-10 as you travel east on Carson Street between Bellflower Blvd. and Palo Verde Ave.
