Registration 2008-09

LBYSO has 2 seasons of soccer: SPRING & FALL
LBYSO is a full service soccer organization featuring Recreational (4-19 year-olds), Signature & Club.

COACHES

If you are interested in coaching, please CLICK HERE to fill out the application. ALL coaches will be trained on proper technique with the help of LBYSO Club Trainers.

SPRING Season (February - May)

Registration: Currently closed

FALL Season (September - December)

For the Fall season coaches are selected in July and the team drafts are held in August. Practices start early to mid August.

Registration: On-line and Park registration will begin in APRIL. The next park registration is on July 12th at the corner of Bellflower and Carson.

Registration Fees for 1 or 2 children:

The cost per child is $105.00 - there is NO late fee.

Registration Fees for 3 or more children:

The first two children are $105 each and every child after that is $80.

**All the children must be apart of your immediate family. Cousins, nieces, or any other extended family members cannot be included as part of your family for this discount. Children must share the same address of at least one of their parents/guardians.

LBYSO also has a Fundraiser program, but unlike last year, the fee is already included in the registration cost. Please see Fundraiser Information to find out more.

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID AT THE SAME TIME YOU REGISTER.

Proof of Age:

All new players’ paperwork must include, and or a parent/guardian must be able to present, a copy of their child’s birth certificate as proof of their age.

Guaranteed Play:

The final registration date for guaranteed play is July 12th.

Signing up AFTER the July 12th Registration Deadline:

You will still be able to sign up your child BUT they will have to be placed on a waiting list. Unfortunately, after the deadline, we cannot guarantee that they will be placed on a team. By this time most, if not all, of our age groups are full. If your child is placed, it could happen before the season starts or well into the season depending on the needs of that age group. It is a ‘wait and see’ situation for those on the waiting list.

Skill Testing:

All NEW players born Before 8/1/2001 MUST be skill tested prior to registration. Testing will be done at Heartwell Park at the same time and place as registration in person. Testing takes about 10 minutes. Players should wear cleats, but sneakers/tennis shoes are OK. Shin guards are not necessary.
