LBYSO has 2 seasons of soccer: SPRING & FALL
LBYSO is a full service soccer organization featuring Recreational (4-18 year-olds), Signature & Club.

FALL Season (September - December)

For the Fall season, coaches are selected and notified in late June and early July. The team drafts are held July 25th and 26th. Practices should start early to mid August at the latest.

Registration: On-line and Park registration begins in APRIL. The next park registration is on April 18th at the corner of Bellflower and Carson.
If you can’t make it to the park or register on-line, the following locations will accept your registration:

Registration Fees for 1 or 2 children:
The cost per child is $105.00 - there is NO late fee. This fee includes the $20 Fundraiser Community Card
 
Registration Fees for 3 or more children:
The first two children are $105 each and every child after that is $80. 
**All the children must be apart of your immediate family. Cousins, nieces, or any other extended family members cannot be included as part of your family for this discount. Children must share the same address of at least one of their parents/guardians.
 
LBYSO also has a Fundraiser program, but the fee is already included in the registration cost. Please see Fundraiser Information to find out more.
 
ALL FEES MUST BE PAID AT THE SAME TIME YOU REGISTER.
 
Proof of Age:
All new players’ paperwork must include, and or a parent/guardian must be able to present, a copy of their child’s birth certificate as proof of their age. 
 
Guaranteed Play:
The final registration date for guaranteed play is July 25th.
 
Signing up AFTER the July 11th Registration Deadline:
You will still be able to sign up your child BUT they will have to be placed on a waiting list. Unfortunately, after the deadline, we cannot guarantee that they will be placed on a team. By this time most, if not all, of our age groups are full. If your child is placed, it could happen before the season starts or well into the season depending on the needs of that age group. It is a ‘wait and see’ situation for those on the waiting list so be sure to sign up on time if at all possible.
 
Skill Testing:
All NEW players to LBYSO born before 8/1/2002 and players that have not played with LBYSO within the last 2 years MUST be skill tested prior to registration.
 
Testing will be done at Heartwell Park at the same time and place as registration in person. Testing takes about 10 minutes. Players should wear cleats if possible, but sneakers/tennis shoes are OK.  Shin guards are not necessary.
